Our First Breakout EDU

Today we had our first BreakoutEDU and students had to solve puzzles to get an antivenom so they wouldn't turn into zombies...each game has a story that leads us to clues and puzzles.

Students had 45minutes to unlock 5 locks and puzzles and only missed out by seconds on the very last lock. So they almost broke out!

This is something we will do each week which ties into being open-minded for learning as well as linking strongly to the key competencies in the New Zealand Curriculum. After each BreakoutEDU we debrief and discuss what went well, what challenged us, what we enjoyed, what changes we might make next time and of course shout outs to those who did well.

I was really proud of how most of you worked and kept going even when it felt tough! Keep it up Super 7s!
