NZSL Week One

Today students learnt some New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) how to get the attention of their listener, ask for their name and reply 'my name is' and fingerspell their name. 

New Zealand Sign Language is a combination of hand shapes, facial expressions and body movements. Next week is NZSL Week, 8 - 14 of May, Deaf Aotearoa host a range of events around the country to help raise awareness for NZSL and to raise funds.
