Conceptual Learning: Exploring Food Waste at HINT

For our Concept/Inquiry Learning we have a few elements tied in together. You may notice home conversations steering towards food wastage and reusable packaging? If not, parents start the discussion with your child - they have been sharing some amazing ideas and lots and lots of questions!

We had a sneaky look after a T2 break to see what is being consumed, wasted and rubbish produced from the kai we bring into school as students. 

We were shocked at the number of chip packets and how much food has been thrown away without even being opened/eaten. 

This sparked some amazing questions from The Super 7s - I can't wait to see what directions this learning will take.
