Triangle Maths Group and 5 x Tables.

These two did an amazing job today using different materials to work out sets of 2, 5 and 10. 

Here they explain 4 sets of 5.

By the end of the session they were able to 

• skip count 5, 10, 15, 20
• write an equation using addition 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20
• write an equation using muliplication 4 x 5 = 20
• used the doubling strategy 5 + 5 = 10, 10 + 10 = 20 / 2 x 10 = 20

I am so proud of how you both were able to clearly explain how you worked out the question and could transfer that knowledge using different materials - well done!
